A Weakened Immune System

If you have been under stress for years, sleep little, eat a lot of junk food and then suddenly get an infection with a bacteria or virus (chlamydia, mycoplasma, glandular fever, CMV, etc.), there is a chance that you will not heal properly. The infection remains chronically present in the body and causes complaints of fatigue, swollen glands, fever, flu-like feeling, poor sleep, headache, poor recovery after exertion, etc.

Instead of trying to tackle and suppress infections, I always emphasize strengthening the immune system when treating infections, so that the body can eliminate the bacteria or virus itself after a while. You can strengthen your immune system through a healthy diet (the Mediterranean diet) and by exercising sufficiently. If you have a weakened immune system, it is necessary to take a well-dosed multivitamin-mineral supplement.

A very powerful way to strengthen the immune system is the Myers cocktail, an infusion with a sophisticated mix of vitamins, minerals and amino acids (tailor-made for each patient).

A special case is the Lyme disease, which is caused by the bite of an infected tick, which transmits the Borrelia bacteria to humans. The bite of an infected tick produces a typical skin rash (a red circle with central clearing) and it is important to detect this in time so that you can immediately take antibiotics.

There are still many people who have not noticed a tick bite and still get an infection. If they are infected with the Borrelia bacteria (or a co-infection such as Bartonella, Ehrlichia, Babesia) and have not taken antibiotics and if this is accompanied by a weakened immune system, we enter the phase of a chronic infection. At this stage, treatment becomes much more difficult and many factors must be treated simultaneously: good intestinal function, hormonal support, strengthening the immune system, detecting possible nutritional intolerances and possible burden due to heavy metal loading, etc.
